Hep B vaccine caused an attack

Hi all!
I have been for a few years on the diet and have recovered completely from all MS symptoms. So everything in my life was going just great, as healthy as can be and strong as ever.

Last week I went and got myself a Hepatitis B vaccine to complete my travel vaccines package (they do A and B and now it was B's turn).
A few hours after the vaccine I felt incredibly tired and went to sleep early that day. Next day I woke up with vision problems and mood swings (crying spells). My vision wasn't blurry but everything looked too bright with some kind of aura around everything. This was not a migraine, but it took a few days before I ruled the possibility out.
I believe the damage from the chemicals or virus in the vaccine kept happening over 2 days, I was crying 2 days straight and my vision did not improve but thankfully it didn't get worse. On the third day the mood swings stopped, I started to smile and had lots of energy despite the vision problems. However I still needed more sleep than usual.
It was clearly the vaccine because I hadn't strayed off the diet at all so there was no reason to get sick. All these days my body felt like it was going through some kind of detox, excessive thirst for water, runny nose, muscle aches, upset stomach. (I've done detox before and I know the symptoms pretty well)
After day 3 I started seeing clearly for a few minutes per day before the brightness came back again. Yesterday I managed to read for half an hour even because my vision cleared up. Today is day 5 and it is still not normal but getting less and less bright by the minute. I hope tomorrow it is even better, time to stop being sick and go back to school. Only today can I write on the computer, before I couldnt read or write anything on it!

I must say that the rate of recovery is unbelievably fast, I attribute it to the fact that this was not a natural worsening but induced by chemicals/viruses (vaccination). Therefore my body had all the strength to detox from the attack and start healing. I must thank the founders of the diet because I would be in a much worse place without them.

I will share my list of supplements I eat everyday to keep healthy and must mention here that I haven't taken any medication whatsoever for the past half year and use only organic products on my body, I am almost chemical free!
I take: multivitamins, extra vitamin D3, ginkgo, fish oil, chlorophyll and ginseng.
I have added ashwagandha and colloidal sylver to combat the vaccination effects for a while.

If anyone has questions please feel free to ask, I am more than ready to help and share my story!

I am sorry to say I think

I am sorry to say I think this is stopping you from getting better. I know eactly how you feel about the comments from your family and friends, they are well meaning but it is very unhelpful and makes you doubt yourself. Try to stay strong, this was a very major source of stress for me but when I started to get better i started to get stubborn and now I dont care what they say, my weight has remained static for well over a year now and I know I am doing the right thing so it makes it easier to shrug off the comments - but they are very hurtful and come at a time when you are already struggling so I feel your pain - but it will pass.
Why dont you try the "strict version" of the diet, lean protein and non starchy vegetables for at least a month and see how you go - you wont starve, I promise you - I thought I would too but I didnt. You will probably get worse before you get better to plan about two weeks menu and have plently of food available for when you feel like a nibble - as you will - because you will crave what you are giving up. I find I get on better with some protein fro breakfast, so that could be shrimp or lean pork or chicken breast or turkey or fish. Lunch would be more protein with perhaps a large salad or maybe baked zucchini, dinner could be stirfry of lean protein - say maybe shrimp with shredded cabbageor fennel, or turkey breast with steamed cauliflower and broccoli. I drink only water, I can identify an immediate reaction with both tea and coffee so I stay away from them, you can heat the water so syou think you are having your hot drink. Soups are good too, you can freeze them and are great for snacks or suppers and you can add in some protein if you like. Slice up your veg, maybe broccoli or cauliflower or zucchini and simmer in water until soft, add salt and pepper, you can blitz in blender to make creamy - zucchini is particularly creamy - you will soon get used to what consistency you like.
Another thing that works for me is coffee enemas - I swore I would never do them but I was so ill I thought I would give it a go - wow I am a convert, I cant tell you how much they help me - they help your liver to eliminate toxins, google coffee enemas for more info and home kit and special coffee.
If you can afford it add a digestive enzyme to your list of supplements Enzymedica do a really good range, read the blurb or their website but buy from Vitacost online as they are much cheaper.
Fresh vegetable juices are good too, spinach, parsley celery.
Good luck

Hi Mouse1, Thanks for

Hi Mouse1,
Thanks for answering me. I do eat alot of baked pototoes (white or sweet). Just eating lean meat and vegtables don't do it. I'm hungry and need some starch to full me. I lost 15 lbs. since starting the diet and I'm getting negative feedback from my friends and family members. I take a multi-vit. plus vit.B-12, C,D,E,and fish oil. My biggest cheating is eating a small amt. of chocolate(dark) maybe 3 or 4 times a week (very small) I also drink decaffenated coffee maybe 4 x week. Do you think this is stopping me from recovering?

Hi Vikki, maybe you should

Hi Vikki, maybe you should try some extra vitamin C and extra zinc until you get over the pnemonia properly. Dont give up on the diet, it took me a full 20 months before I noticed an improvement. I started with the books suggestions of eliminating yeast legumes eggs milk and gluten, keeping my fat intake within the guidelines, I then eliminated sugar and fruit and one day noticed a reaction to white potatoes. I eliminated those as well. I was eating a lot of alternative grains and rice and starchy vegetables to keep me full but I was going downhill fast. I decided all or nothing and started to eat only non starchy vegetables and lean protein and hey presto it worked. I felt worse for about a week to ten days then started to slowly improve.
Have another look at your diet when you feel stronger and remember to rotate the foods you can eat so you dont become sensitive to them.

I have been on the

I have been on the MSrecovery Diet almost 2 yrs. I still use a walker in the house and I use a scooter when I go out. I just got over pnemonia and it has set be back to where my legs are weak and I'm very tired. I am just happy to hear of a postive reply stating you were completly symptom free. I became a little upset with the diet and after being sick I started to eat food that were not on the diet because I was soo hungry and needed to gain back my strength. I now am going back on the diet. I haven't been on any meds. for 3 years. Any advice? Vikki
