My husband's boss can't eat dairy, but shared with me that she can eat raw milk cheese. Dairy is a huge trigger for me (crazy fatigue), so I have been hesitant to try. But, I figured that I would give it a try and if it didn't work out, I would just feed to my kids and hubby. Guess what?! I was very surprised to find out that it did not effect me! I couldn't believe it! Very exciting... has anyone else tried it?
Rebecca :O)
You can buy raw cheese at
You can buy raw cheese at Whole Foods... I've also purchased them at Food Lion and Bloom, but they've stopped carrying them near me. I would just proceed with caution, just to make sure. I've since cut it out again as I wasn't feeling well and wasn't sure if it was the cheese or not. I wasn't experiencing "normal dairy symptoms", so I plan on trying it again to find out. :)
Where do you buy "raw" dairy
Where do you buy "raw" dairy products. I've never heard of that. Of all the things I've given up, I miss my cheese the most!
I had not heard of that
I had not heard of that before. I will have to check that out. Thanks for the tip! :)
Hi Rebecca - I hadnt heard
Hi Rebecca - I hadnt heard of this but will look out for it. Did you know that you can get an enzyme called Lacto from Enzymedica which greatly reduces the impact of poor dairy digestion - take it with glutenease also from Enzymedica which helps with the casein in the milk. Buy through vitacost as it is much cheaper but read the blurb on Enzymedica's web site. They are expensive and I only use them in emergencies as it is obviously better to abstain completely - but sometimes I just cant!!!!
