Back in Oct., after seeing my MS doctor, I e-mailed Judi to share the positive results. After reading my note, she said she'd ike me to post it on her blog as an encouragement to others. I'm a little late, but I hope my experience can encourage anyone who may be beginning the diet or thinking about it. I've now been following the diet one year and one month and I love it! I've reaped benefits physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have increased strength and stamina for my housework and in much shorter time. My mood is better. I have enthusiasm for doing things and going places that I didn't have before the diet. I can focus and concentrate to the point where I can read and follow long novels with complex plots and numerous characters, or books with historical facts, or medical details, etc. Previously, I couldn't focus or concentrate to the point where I just gave up and quit trying. The pain, numbness, and tingling in my feet are gone, unless I eat something that is a trigger for me. At least, now I know what to look for as the culprit and to avoid in the future. My husband can see the difference, my doctor has seen results, and a neighbor is impressed, as well. I shared it with a friend who's been on the diet for about 6 months and says the same thing---that he'll never go back to the way he was before. I want to thank Judi and Ann for writing this book, and I encourage anyone who may be on the fence wondering if they should try it---go for it, and all my best to you! Give yourself a Christmas gift of feeling better!
Thanks. I'm on meds, but
Thanks. I'm on meds, but reduced from daily to every other day a few months ago due to tissue destruction from repeated injections leaving fewer injection sites. I had no effects from reducing shots, I believe due to the diet. You can read my previous post "diet results" from a few days ago. Best to you, also!
Congratulations for sticking
Congratulations for sticking to the diet and getting such good results!!!
I was wondering, are you also on MS medication or only on the diet?
