First off – congratulations!!!
Next, I am looking forward to your book. I am very intrigued.
Having said that, I have a couple of questions. I don’t really see how this diet is much different from so many of the alternative MS healing diets that already exist. Please don’t misunderstand, I am NOT trying to be rude, I am just in a quandary. It seems to have phenomenal results and I don’t really get it. What makes it different from other “get better from MS” diets?
Like I said, I’ll be getting the book. Please help to sway my skepticism… Thank you, and again CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Having been on Swank and now
Having been on Swank and now MS recovery diets for nearly a year, my weight has reduced by 40lbs in that time. I am 5'2" and now weigh 7stones 12lb. Can you tell me if this is a normal reduction or is their any food I should be taking within your diet?

Hi, was your query already answered? sorry if it wasn't. A little bit of sweetener is fine to experiment with and stevia has the least amount of glucose for the sweetening effect it provides. Agave nectar is also alright and do try to move to herbal teas eventually if you can. Try to avoid honey for now.
Brown rice is generally fine but all foods must be tested for yourself. Sounds like it is fine for now.
Try not to have the same foods every day- the big pot all of the time is not so great for us. Vary your leftovers every other day and freeze extras for the following week if you can. It is not always necessary to avoid all repeats of vegetables or poultry or fish- but definitely try with the starches. Also keep the fruits down to a minimum when starting out on the diet. Judi
ms and food
i am empowered by the book, and am on the diet but have a couple of questions. should i use agave nectar or stevia or honey in the one cup of caffeinated tea i drink each day. i've eliminated eggs, dairy, yeast, legumes, wine, wheat, barley, sugar, red meat and gluten. i also need to know if brown rice is ok or not. my body doesn't seem to react to it in any way. also, if i make a big pot of something and eat it every day for a week am i creating a sensitivity?
