Season's Greetings !
I have a question, I have noticed that after I eat turkey the problems with my legs get worse. Has anyone had a reaction to turkey on this diet? I started the diet on 11/1/10 and have never eaten so much turkey in my life. I try and swap out between that, chicken breast and shrimp, so I'm not eating the same thing too often, but after yeasterday and leftovers today I'm wondering if maybe tuyrkey should be on my do not eat list.
I have been very strict with this diet and not deviated once, so I'm still waiting for things to get better. Maybe it's too early to tell what I am and am not allergic too, maybe I don't have a turkey problem at all.
Also, Has anyone applied for disability who is living in Ohio? I've heard it takes two years to be approved IF they approve you. Any reconmondations on who to go to or how to go about it aside from the social ssecurity office?
Hi Jopmona, I too think that
Hi Jopmona,
I too think that juicing is a good idea because it's a great way to get all those nutritious things we need. I've recently been actually making smoothies instead of juicing because for one, it's easier, you just toss your veggies and such into the Vita Mix and liquefy everything. That also keep the entire veggie intact, rather then disposing of the pulp and such when juicing. Does anyone know if that would be a problem in any way? I'm still new to the whole Ms Recovery Diet and am not sure what is allowed and not allowed. As I said in another post, I tend to throw in a piece of fruit to sweeten the shake but now I'm wondering if that's a no no. Thanks for any comments on this.
hi , and best of the season
hi , and best of the season , i too am on a very restrictve version of the diet as i have primary ms , whats really helped me is wild salmon , either canned or fresh , its loaded with omega acids which we really need for rebuilding our myelin , also i have started juicing vegetables , i havent been able to eat fruit for the last 6 months so the raw juice tastes pretty good , this is a difficult time foe restrictive diets so dont be too hard on yourself .try juicing if you can you will really feel the difference .
take care
