I recently began taking probiotics from Nutrition Now. I asked the company HOW they should be taken and was told, "How you take a pro-biotic, is really dependent on why you are taking it. If you are taking the supplement for digestive health, than it is best to take with meals, we recommend that you take one with breakfast and one with dinner. However, if you are taking it for general health purposes, we recommend that you take the full serving on an empty stomach, presumably, first thing in the morning."
I know that others who use this forum take probiotics. How do you do it?

I've been taking two vegetarian probiotic capsules with my evening meal, but I think I will change to taking one in the morning with food and one in the evening with food now.
