response to living with this diet and others who dont.

Hi.I am really sorry you are having such a negative reaction from your husband! Im sure everyone who has read your post feels quite angry for you, because the last thing you need when you have made an obvious effort to change your lifestyle and make yourself well, is a negative attitude!!! My husband is also a real meat and veg man, but i have just accepted that we have to eat differently, and i have tried to make things as easy as possible, but he encourages me totally, because even after 6 short weeks i am seeing definate improvement. I have found it easiest to keep it pretty simple. I buy large bags of various frozen veg which can be steamed or microwaved in a matter of minutes, and portions of chicken, turkey, and fish. Even after a busy day when the temptation to just grab anything or order a takeaway, i find a can have a good nutritious meal ready in 20 minutes. I also have small bags of nuts and seeds on hand to snack on. A large portion of rice ( if you can tolerate it ) can be made at the beginning of the week and can keep in the fridge for 4-5 days, an easy filler to go with your protein. Hope this encourages you to have faith and carry on- your energy will increase with the right food.
Regards Sarah
